We’re giving Odd Thomas – Odd Hours an Edgier rating and a Catholic rating. We recommend all of the Odd Thomas series and this one is no exception. We give the edgier rating because the Odd One is a bit edgier in this episode. While our hero finds himself in a pretty bad jam in this one, he uses some tactics which may be necessary to save the United States from a terrorist attack involving nuclear weapons, but are a little shy of the Marquis of Queensbury rules. We are avoiding spoilers, but we will say the violence is at times surprising for a purely white-hatted hero. Odd Hours in our judgment has crossed back into the edgier category, but not quite into the edgiest where the original Odd Thomas remains.
